Country stores are still out there for sure. My favorite is Ashford Valley Grocery-good for a snack pickup before or after playing at Mt. Rainier.
Somehow I can see that creaky old store. Did it have a bell hanging on the front door, so Jack knew he had a new friendly customer walking in? Those three fellas would be surprised at how easy I could hang yapping away, on a completely different subject though? I'd have so many questions for them.
